Well done 4Life Juniors
While we hold our breath waiting to see which club have won this year’s East Midlands Junior Series (let it be us 🙂 we have seen the news that we have quite a few juniors who will be heading home with individual series trophies for the East Midlands Awards ceremony on 13th October 2019 in Kegworth.
Well done to siblings Charlotte and Florence Lissaman (1st and 1st in AG) Daniel and Rebecca Van Aardt (3rd and 1st in AG) and Henry and Matilda Herries (1st and 3rd in AG); Lucia Casseldine (3rd in AG); James Berry (3rd in AG) and Charlie Neece (2nd in AG). Enjoy your moment at the awards ceremony.
We are so proud of all our juniors (and their patient parents/taxi drivers/baggage holders) who put themselves out there and race in what is a tough junior triathlon series. We applaud you for getting out there and giving it a go, and always enjoy seeing you play, socialise and support each other at these events. It goes without saying that you are a fabulous bunch (even if you are often found hiding in bushes, up trees or rolling down grassy banks post race).
Extra kudos to the juniors who were there for every series race – wow!! Brothers Tom and Harry Day were 2 of a total 8 juniors in the region who entered and completed every race. Harry even made sure he finished despite a nasty scape at the last race of the series. Well done Day boys.
